X2 TASER SMART CARTRIDGES

The new Smart Cartridge communicates with the Fire Control System within the X3 CEW, indicating the type of cartridge loaded in each bay and its deployment status. The Smart Cartridge contains the nitrogen propulsion system, probes, TASER® wire, and Anti-Felon Identification (AFID) tags sealed behind a rugged, weatherproof blast door. The new static resistant propulsion system allows the X3 CEW to display NMI arcs without firing the cartridge - which also reduces the risk of accidental static discharge misfires.
TASER Smart Cartridges are designed for use with both the X2 and the X3 systems. Effective range up to 15 feet.
