UNIVERSAL SHOCK TUBE INITIATOR

The AVATAR® Universal Shock Tube Initiator lets an operator use wireless technology to fire a device from a safe distance away. The Initiator attaches to either the EOD/Standard Reach or the Extended Reach Manipulator Arm. When activated by the controller touchscreen, the Initiator can fire a recoilless Percussion Actuated Nonelectric (PAN) disrupter or any other shock tube or thermal tube command-initiated device like a breaching charge, diversionary device, or chemical agent grenade. Note: The Universal Shock Tube Initiator is to only be used with approved recoilless disrupters.
